Description
In the land of Equestria, two sisters ruled the land as equals. Celestia the elder sister, controlled the day, while Luna the younger sister ruled over the night. However, their subjects played and worked during the day, while they slept through Luna's night. Years of loneliness and spite transformed Luna into a dark entity known as Nightmare Moon. The Nightmare attempted to overthrow Celestia and very nearly succeeded. Using the power of the Elements of Harmony, Celestia reluctantly banished her sister to the moon for a millennia.
